As you sow so shall you reap

Whilst watching UK Column Extra earlier this afternoon, I noticed some supremely negative attitudes in the chat box.
For those of you who are not au fait with UK Column Extra, after the news ends there is an additional bit of news for circa 30-minutes or so delivered in a less formal manner. It is often highly entertaining and always valuable.
There is also a chat box for paying members to access during both the regular news and during extra. It’s a useful source of information and there is usually a decent array of views and - generally speaking - a pretty high calibre of member.
Unfortunately, I happened to notice some negative garbage/propaganda coming out of the chat box by viewers (members) of the UK Column regarding home education.
Namely:
“mOsT pArEnTs cAn’T hOmE eDuCaTe…”
🙄🙄🙄
This is patently not true, for the following reasons.
If jabs were mandated in schools tomorrow, this attitude would disappear overnight (circa 40% of my email list fit into this category).
Everyone has the same number of hours in a day - 24 - therefore as we know that some parents *do* home educate, that technically means that ANY parents could do it.
Cheaper holidays, second-hand cars and cheaper rents/mortgages CAN be acquired for those who take their child’s future seriously enough.
Frankly speaking, the person who wrote that comment in the chat means simply that he/she hasn’t yet figured out how to Home Educate their children and that is perfectly fine, we all learn at our own pace after all.
What is not fine is taking one’s personal experience and applying it to almost everyone else!
This person ought to have written; “I can’t home educate because…”
It is not okay to extrapolate our personal experience of the world and then apply it to those who may wear some of the same labels e.g., ‘parent’.
I’m sure we’ve all done it but as people who wish to do and to be better, we must more carefully guard against such weaknesses.
We need to check our own thinking and CHALLENGE our own thinking rigorously, otherwise we are no better than the sheeple.
If jabs were mandated in schools tomorrow
It’s a sad state of affairs that the majority of ‘awake’ parents view psychological harm as lesser than physical harm.
My 3-night lecture series: Rescue your children clearly demonstrated the myriad of different ways that schools denigrate the psychology and creativity of children, not to mention impeding their academic development!
According to most ‘awake’ parents that’s acceptable.
However, should an injection be a legal requirement of attendance at school there would be an overnight change in attitude.
Anybody can home educate their children
The uncomfortable truth is that ANYONE can home educate their children and if you want them to remain yours, you should.
Nobody is entirely blind - or immune - to the economic, social and political challenges of the times but the brutal truth is that it comes down to a question of priorities.
Those parents who know that NOTHING is more important than the psychological well-being of their children have already taken action.
It is my great privilege to work with dozens and dozens of such parents.
As you sow so shall you reap
In case you missed the memo; as you sow, so shall you reap.
Working full-time, educating one’s own children, managing a household and balancing the books is tough for most people.
Of that there can be no doubt.
However, it will be those that put their shoulder to the wheel and get on and do the work that will be ultimately rewarded.
They’ll be rewarded with supremely impressive young adults for children; nurtured, developed, well-educated and moulded in their own image rather than that of the state.
Their children are very unlikely to turn out like sheeple.
For those who are forced to attend government indoctrination centres (schools) the prognosis is not so favourable.
Nobody said it was going to be easy
Who told you that parenting was going to be easy?
Is there anything worth having that’s ‘easy’?
Does the real secret to life not lie in a job thoroughly well done and is it not so very much the sweeter when a difficult job is done well under extreme circumstances?
“Because strait is the gate, and narrow is the way, which leadeth unto life, and few there be that find it.”
